Cynthia LaJuan Trichell Polanco

June 20, 1955 — July 23, 2015

Cynthia " Cindy" L. Polanco, 60, of Sour Lake, Texas, lost her battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away at home on July 23, 2015.

A service celebrating her life will be held July 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont and will be officiated by her cousin Pastor Scott Ricks. The family has asked that those in attendance wear their favorite super hero or rock band shirt and jeans.
Cindy always said, "I'm a little bit rock n roll."

Although born in Seminole, Texas on June 20, 1955, much of her childhood was spent in Bastrop, Louisiana. Drawing most of her values and beliefs from grandparents H.B. and Lilah Yelverton, she is the daughter of Billie Eldean Yelverton and estranged father Milton "PoJohn" Trichell. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend.

Cindy loved life. She was a voracious reader, collector, crafter, musician, and a movie junkie. She always gave out the best advice and was a true matriarch of her family. Those that knew her, were calmed my her words of wisdom and the " Grandpa always taught us...." citations. She was full of words to encourage for you and always had a hug waiting for everyone.

She is survived by her oldest daughter, Dawn Hardt and husband Danny, of Sour Lake, Texas. Daughter Stormi Polanco-Hill and husband Jared, of Nederland, Texas. Eldest son Francisco "Frankie" Polanco of Houston, Texas. And son Bill "Aaron" Polanco of Beaumont, Texas. Grandchildren Christopher Polanco, Crystal Robbins, Dakota Bravo, Heaven Polanco, Seth Paris, and Zane Hardt. Great Grandchildren, Oliver Polanco, Simon Polanco, Emily Johnson, and Kardyn Polanco. Sisters Donna Vasquez and Kay Hodgkins. Sister-in-law, Irene Benavidez. And estranged husband Frank Polanco of Victoria, Texas. As well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cindy was preceded in death by mother Billie Malley, grandparents, H.B And Lilah Yelverton, and Julia Cummins-Yelverton.
