Crystal Kelly Yocham Brones, 48, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. There will be no burial following services.

After retiring from the Orange Cunty Sheriff Department at the age of 43, Crystal spent her time managing the Texas Ave. Tavern in Bridge City. Crystal dedicated her life to her passions with a love for her family and friends. She was known not only for her entrepreneurial spirit but also for her vibrant social life, where she thrived on bringing people together. Her friendly nature and ability to make everyone feel welcome made her everyone’s best friend.

Traveling was one of Crystal's great joys, and she embraced new experiences with enthusiasm. She cherished each opportunity to explore, always returning with stories and memories that warmed her family and friends. A true giver at heart, Crystal was always ready to lend a helping hand or an understanding ear, embodying the glue that held her family together.

Crystal took immense pride in her son, Colton, whose accomplishments brought her great joy. She shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews, creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever. Her love extended to her canine companions, who were an essential part of her life.

She will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to know her and will be remembered for the joy she spread, the friendships she nurtured, and her unwavering support for her loved ones. Crystal leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a spirit that will continue to light the lives of many.

Crystal is preceded in death by her father, Don Yocham.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband whom she has spent 16 beautiful years with, Mickey Brones; mother, Barbara Yocham; her son, Colton Boudreaux; sisters, Jennessa Patton and husband Jason, and Jennier Yocham; nieces and nephews, Scarlett Patton, Kayden Buckner, Ashton Simmons, and Christian Brones; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
