Carroll James Benoit

In loving memory of Carroll Benoit, fondly known as "Charlie”, to his close friends and family, who peacefully departed this world on the morning of April 27, 2024. Born on April 19, 1934, he was a cherished husband, devoted father, beloved grandfather, and great-grandfather. Carroll was the embodiment of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Orange with Reverend Michael Strother officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. 

 

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:30 a.m., Friday, at St. Helen Catholic Church. 

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Benoit, JW Wright, Daren Kirby, Tyler Leifeste , Alex Parrish, AJ Kough, Michael Salazar and Jacob Trevino.


 Carroll was born to Valex and Oceana Benoit, both of whom preceded him in death, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. He was a loving and devoted husband to his beloved Anita Benoit, who will continue to cherish his memory and carry his love in her heart. His passing came on the day of their 67th anniversary.
 
 As a father, Carroll exemplified patience, wisdom, and boundless love. He leaves behind his children Brett, Diedra, Hart, Quint, and Simone, who will forever be grateful for his guidance, support, and unconditional love.
 
 Carroll was a proud brother to Harold and Ray Benoit, both of whom have gone before him. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
 
 His ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he found immense joy in watching them grow and flourish. Their laughter and love brought him endless happiness and fulfillment.
 
 Throughout his life, Carroll's passions were deeply rooted in his faith, family, and music. He lived each day with a sense of purpose, spreading joy and compassion wherever he went. His love for God was evident in his every action, and his devotion to his family knew no bounds. Music was his solace, his joy, and his way of expressing the depths of his soul.
 
 Carroll Benoit's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
