Carol Kay Lyons, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2025, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Born in Pflugerville, Texas, on August 27, 1945, she was the daughter of William Harrison and Lillian (Pounders) Harrison. Throughout her life, Carol found joy in sewing and crafting, expressing her creativity through her many projects. Her proudest accomplishment was being a grandmother, a role she cherished deeply as her grandchildren lovingly called her "Nanny." Carol will be remembered for the warmth she brought to her family and the passions she pursued in her everyday life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian Harrison; and husband, William Edward Lyons.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathrin Peck and husband Mark; sons, Mike Lyons and wife Lisa, and Dale Lyons; grandchildren, Michal Arnaud and wife Ashley, Jessica Barber and husband Chad, Cody Rowland and wife Bri, Zach, Tyler, and Seth; great grandchildren, Ty Barber, Taylor Barber, and Palmer Arnaud; numerous other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
