Brenda Gail Fisher, 73, of Orange, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Orangefield.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Wyatt Weir. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Cemetery in Robeline, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, on November 10, 1951, she was the daughter of Monroe Fisher and Lois Sibley Fisher. Brenda dedicated her career to administration at Firestone, where she was known for her exemplary work ethic. Outside of her professional life, Brenda was a woman of many interests and talents. She found joy in sewing, creating beautiful items that showcased her creativity and skill. As a talented artist, she expressed her emotions and experiences through her art. Above all, Brenda cherished her family. Her nurturing spirit and devotion as a mother were evident in the love she provided, making her a pillar of strength and support for her loved ones. Brenda was a devoted Christian, embodying the teachings of her faith throughout her life. She was blessed with all of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which she generously shared with those fortunate enough to be in her presence. Her kindness, compassion, and selflessness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. In her quiet moments, Brenda lived her life preparing for her arrival in Heaven, fully embracing her faith and the promise of eternal life. Her legacy of love, creativity, and faith will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Lois Fisher; her brothers, Billy Ray Fisher, and Truman Fisher; and her sister, Norma Payne.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla Michelle Gray; her grandson, Aaron Taylor Gray and wife, Ashley; her great grandchildren, Trista Gray, and Wyatt Gray; her sister, Johnette Jackson; her loving first husband, Larry Gray; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Gray, Aaron Gray, Jamey Mayo, Wyatt Gray, and Chase Prejean.
