Billie Lou Delaney Leger, 92 of Orange, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28,2025 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. She was born June 23,1933 in Orange, Texas to James Kenneth Delaney and Ester Elizabeth Hale Delaney.

Billie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her love for others was evident and she will be deeply missed.

Billie loved dancing, traveling, cooking for and spending time with her family and going to the casino. She was always the life of the party from her silly faces to urging everyone to get up and dance. She rarely took a serious picture, her mission was to make everyone laugh. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxilary at VFW #2775 Post in Orange, Texas.

Billie was proceeded in death by her loving husband (Don) James Donald Leger (Army Sargent), son (Billy) William Lucius Leger, brothers Douglas Delaney and wife Nancy, brother Kenneth Delaney.

She is survived by her children: (Jimmy) James Leger II of Miliam, Texas, Donna Bordelon (Robin) of Hessmer, LA, Laurece Charrier (Robert) of Hessmer, LA, (Beth) Elizabeth Mull (Frank) of Groves, Texas.

Grandchildren: Brandon Lyles (Makayla) of Kirbyville, TX, Courtney Chisum (Keith) of Mauriceville, TX, Jacob Leger (Candice) of Hessmer, LA, Alleigh Leger of Kingwood, Texas, Edward Ducote II of Chandler, OK, Dustin Ducote (Mavey) of Reeves, LA, Danielle Ducote of Hessmer, LA, Brittany Threeton (Justin) of Hessmer, LA. Blaise Mull of Groves, Texas.

Great Grandchildren: Alexis Chisum, Gabriel Chisum, Harper Lyles, Scotty Lyles, Hezekiah Leger, Shai Leger, Emma Clair Ducote, Noelle Ducote, Caden Ducote, Adysen Ducote, Emalyn Ducote, Lila Thompson, Truett Thompson, Ty Thompson, Breyer Threeton, Archer Threeton, and Bentlee Carline

She was called Booboo, Aunt B among other pet names by her many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Billie had much love her friends that she always treated like family and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Ducote, Brandon Lyles, Keith Chisum, Gabe Chisum, Jacob Leger and Edward Ducote II.
