Betty Louise McCorquodale, 84, of Orange, died, Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August, 10, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Pastor Paul Zoch of St. Mark Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, preceding the service. Mrs. McCorquodale was born May 11, 1923, in Johnstown, PA, to Carl Herbs and Elizabeth Levay Herbs. Mrs. McCorquodale served as a nurse in the U.S. Army during WWII. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy McCorquodale, husband, Alan McCorquodale, sister and brother in law, Lois & Bob Gephart and parents, Carl & Elizabeth Herbs.She is survived by her son Rex McCorquodale and wife Ann of Orange; niece and nephew, Leslie and Don Lyons and their son Luke Lyons; grandchildren, Erin Wynne McCorquodale, Knox McCorquodale, Erin Worster, Scott Worster and wife Jacque, great grandchild Evan Worster; sisters, Helen Dutko of Blairsville, PA, Marion Stoltz of Patton, PA and Dorothy Cooper of Conemaugh, PA. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Worster, Knox McCorquodale, Don Lyons, Luke Lyons, Mike Pachuca, Terry Chilton and Rich LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Gephart, Jeff Gephart, Homer Stark and Fred Cervilli.
