Bernadine Bradley, 90, of Bridge City, passed away on September 17, 2022, at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Miller and Pastor John Bickham. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Sugarland, Texas, on November 8, 1931, she was the daughter of Lee Henry Bird and Jessie Mae (Davis) Bird. Bernadine was a beautician for many years and also owned her own beauty shop called “Bernadines”. Mrs. Bradley was a member of First Baptist Church in Bridge City. She had a green thumb and could always be found outside, whether it be having her morning coffee or planting new things. Bernadine enjoyed cooking and quilting. She loved spending time with friends but most of all her beloved family. She was a sweet soul who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Lloyd “Wayne” Bradley; son, Kenneth Wayne Bradley; siblings, Cat Floyd, Johnny Bird, Leo Bird, and Buddy Bird.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie Lynn Bradley; grandchildren, Derek Bradley, Heath Bradley, Trey Bradley and wife Tracy, Jessica Goodwin, Bradley Goodwin, Jordan Tally and husband Brooks, Chase McNamara and wife Meagan; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, Preacher Bird and Elmo Bird; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Bradley, Heath Bradley, Trey Bradley, Chase McNamara, Bradley Goodwin, and Brooks Tally.
