Bart Allen Corder

Bart Allen Corder, 56, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2024, at his home in Orange. 

 Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend John Fortenberry. 

 Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

 Born in Orange, Texas, on February 20, 1968, he was the son of Arthur Richard Corder and Delitha Ruth Peveto Corder. Bart was a beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother whose passions and interests shaped the vibrant life he lived. A proud graduate and athlete of Orangefield High School, Bart cherished his time as a football player, where his talent earned him the distinguished All State Honor. Bart retired as a process operator from Exxon- Mobile and in his retirement, he cherished supporting his grandchildren at their extracurricular events. Bart was a true sports enthusiast, with a deep-rooted love for football, particularly for the Dallas Cowboys, and an unwavering support for the Houston Astros. Fishing was another of Bart's great loves, and he found joy in the outdoors, often spending weekends casting lines and enjoying nature. Additionally, music played an important role in his life, providing the soundtrack to various moments that brought joy and connection to those around him. Bart was an active member of the Bass Master's Sportsman Society and the NRA, reflecting his passion for shooting and the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Richard Corder; and his brother, Mark Corder.

 He is survived by his mother, Delitha Ruth Corder; his children, Brooke Luke and husband, Zachary, and Troy Corder and wife, Ashley; his grandchildren, Hensley Daigle, Noah Granger, Derek Corder, and Caroline Corder; his siblings, Craig Corder, and Chris Corder; his nephew, Campbell Corder; his nieces, Stephanie Corder, Hannah Corder, Larisa Corder, and Evane Williams; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

 Honorary pallbearers are Robbie Lunsford, Chris Freeland, John Forrest, Tim Donovan, Kent Hutchison, and Austin Stevison.

 Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
