Arlie Noreta Barbre, 82, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2025, at Focused Care in Orange.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Hartburg Baptist Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Michael Procella and Reverend Damon Bickham. Burial will follow at King Cemetery.

Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Hartburg Baptist Church in Orange.

Born in Bethel, Texas, on September 12, 1942, she was the daughter of R.E. Blakeney and Wilma (Greene) Blakeney. Noreta had a fulfilling career as a secretary for over nine years at Owens-Illinois, later embracing her passion for flowers by owning a flower shop. She had a special talent for making floral arrangements and took great pride in her meticulous work. A longtime member of Hartburg Baptist Church, Noreta cherished her faith and community. She will be remembered for her kind heart and unwavering support for her loved ones. Noreta's legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.E. and Wilma Blakeney; and brother, Billy Blakeney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Al Barbre; son, Brent Barbre and wife Tambra; grandchildren, Noah Barbre and wife Katerina, Kevin Dupont, Whitney Richard and husband Nicolas, Kenneth Dupont and wife Madeline; sister, Carolyn Shults; many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and other loving family and friends.
