Anne Marie Herrington, Age 44, passed away in Los Angeles, California.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Niblett’s Bluff Cemetery. Her family will officiate.
Born in Tarrant, Texas, on September 17, 1981, she was the daughter of Charles "Chuck" Patrick Herrington and Mary Catherine Singleton. Annie had a deep appreciation for nature and a gentle, free spirit. She loved open spaces, meaningful conversations, and especially the companionship of dogs. She lived authentically and remained true to herself, even when life was difficult. Music was an important part of her life, and she especially loved The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia, whose songs often reflected her thoughtful and independent nature. Above all, Annie loved her children deeply. Indigo, Malakai, and Julian were always in her heart, and her love for them never wavered. They were a constant source of pride, joy, and meaning in her life. Annie is lovingly remembered by her sister, Claudette, who shares: “Although we did not grow up together, life brought us back to each other in 2009, and from that time on, we built a meaningful and loving bond. Being your sister was a gift — not because it was perfect, but because it was honest, growing, and filled with love. I am grateful for every moment we shared, every conversation, and every memory we made. Being Annie’s sister was a blessing, and I will carry her love with me always. I promise to keep your name spoken with love. I promise to honor your life and your story. I promise to remind your children of how deeply their mother loved them. And I promise to carry you with me always. Rest peacefully, my beautiful sister. You will forever live in my heart.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles “Chuck” Herrington and M. Cathy Herrington; and her grandparents, John H. Herrington and Doris L. Herrington.
She is survived by her children, Indigo Stoval, Malakai Stoval, and Julian Herrington; her sister, Claudette Herrington Thomas; her niece and nephews, Michael, Jasmine, Jordan, and Jayden; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
