Wanda Madice Addison, 94, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on September 1, 2020, at her granddaughter’s home in Magnolia, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 7, 2020, at Beech Grove Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana.
Born in Leesville, Louisiana, on April 14, 1926, she was the daughter of Olen H. Addison and Lois (Langton) Addison. Wanda spent most of her life in Bridge City and enjoyed working as a bank teller for Bridge City Bank for many years. She found great happiness in gardening, watching her plants as they grew, and she was particularly fond of her rose garden. Wanda also loved traveling and her favorite destination was Tennessee. She was a wonderful and devoted mother and grandmother and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Lois Addison; her daughter, Donna Hinds and her husband Mike; her grandsons, Joshua Day and Caleb Day; and her siblings, Olan Addison, Malcom Addison, Jean Taylor, Jim Addison, and Don Addison.
She is survived by her children, Curtis S. Franklin and Darlene Day; her grandchildren, Jolene McCain and husband Matt and Amy Juarez and husband Ernie; and her great-grandchildren, Caleb McCain, Zeke Juarez, Hannah Juarez, and Baylee Breaux.
