Vincent "Vince" Francis Dilley Jr.

Vincent Francis Dilley, Jr., 64, of Vidor, passed away on March 1, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Chase Courtney. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Born in Flemington, New Jersey, on April 6, 1955, he was the son of Vern Williams and Bernice (Meeghan) Williams. Vince had a deep love for fishing, food, and football. He owned Vincent Homes LLC and operated it with pride for many years. Vince served bravely in the Marines. He was a very talented fisherman, often enjoying saltwater trips to fish. He was an avid fan of the Nederland Bulldogs, and the LSU Tigers. In high school Vince played baritone and loved the trumpet. He enjoyed carpentry, food, feeding “his girls”: the racoons that visited him daily, and spending quality time with his family. Vince will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he impacted, and will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vern Williams; and granddaughter, Tristan Dilley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 and a half years, Lynda Courtney; mother, Mrs. Bernice Williams; children, Phillip Dilley of Vidor, Brandice Vonstockhausen and husband Wolf of California, Chris Dilley and wife Ashley of Vidor, Keisha Dilley of Vidor, Kristen Dilley of Vidor, Adam Dilley of Vidor, Jared Dilley of Vidor, Joshua Dilley of Beaumont, Samuel Dilley and wife Samantha of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, and Jeremiah Dilley of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; step-children, Lacey Rhoades and husband Jason of San Antonio, Hayley Wallace and husband Eric of Spring Branch, and Chase Courtney and wife Ashley of Boerne; 26 grandchildren; and siblings, Phillip Williams and wife Michelle of Katy, Mary Speight and husband Kevin of Nederland, RD and Jessie Williams of Nederland, Vern Williams of Nederland, Michelle Goode and husband Glen of Nederland; along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Nederland Band Booster at 220 17th St., Nederland, Texas 77627.
