Vanessa Dawn Peacock, 60, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on May 30, 2021, at her sons’ home.
Born in Orange, Texas, on April 16, 1961, she was the daughter of Robert Foreman and Susan Theresa Foreman. Vanessa enjoyed tending to her garden, fishing, and camping. She loved her dogs and always wanted to be doing something outside getting her hands dirty. Vanessa also known as “MawMaw” adored her family most of all and never missed a moment to spend time with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who left an impact on many lives. Vanessa will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Peacock; and parents, Robert and Susan Foreman.
She is survived by her children, James Peacock and wife Amanda of Mauriceville, Bobbie Peacock also of Mauriceville, David Peacock of Buna, Angela Cormier and husband Randy of Newton, and Wendy Elmore of Little Cypress; grandchildren, Steven, Alvin, Timothy and Brianna Richardson, Bobby Wayne Elmore, Verna Elmore, Hayleigh Brause, James Jr. Peacock, and Erica; 10 great grandchildren; and sister Susan Quintana.
