Teresa “Pebbles” Fay Wesson, 55, of Orange, passed away peacefully, on July 15, 2020, surrounded by her family, in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with cremation to follow. Officiating will be Captain Francisco “Frankie” Zuniga.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in McAlister, Oklahoma, on December 14, 1964, she was the daughter of LaVergne Raydean Payton and Margaret Lou (Jennings) Payton. Teresa was a wonderful caregiver and nurturer, always taking care of her family and putting those around her before herself. She was a very active volunteer for the Salvation Army. Teresa loved fishing and spending precious moments with her family. She will be lovingly remembered in her loved one’s hearts as an amazing woman, an endearing wife, a loving mother, and a true friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVergne and Margaret Payton.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Michael Wesson; step mother-in-law, Barbara Wesson; children, Holly Marie Westbrook of Orange, Matthew Wesley Westbrook of Beaumont, and Nicole Elaine Batson and husband William of Orange; siblings, Thomas Payton and wife Melinda of Houston, and Kathy Danheim and husband Dan of Houston; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
