Sarah Lois Ross, 61, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2019, at her home.
Born in Jolliet, Illinois, on November 3, 1957, she was the daughter of Thomas Emerson and Angie Barnett. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of South Avenue Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Angie Emerson; and her sister, Debbie Greathouse.
She is survived by her ex-husband, John Kegley, whom she was married to for 35 years; children, Kimberly and husband Jami Andrus, Christy Gonzalez, James Kegley and partner Katherine Burton, Katherine Sanchez, and John Kegley; her siblings, Connie, Jackie, and Tom; her 25 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2019, at S. Ave. Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
