Robert James Jackson

May 28, 1975 — June 13, 2020

Robert James Jackson, 45, of Orange, passed away on June 13, 2020.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Houston, Texas, on May 28, 1975, he was the son of Janie Lee Curtis. Robert was an extremely talented welder and he took great pride in his work. His favorite place was in the kitchen, where he enjoyed spending time cooking. Robert’s biggest joy in life was his family, continually being present in their lives, watching Aidyn and Carter play baseball, having all night sleepovers with Jaylyn, and making the best life he could for his entire family. His heart belonged wholly to his beloved wife, Mandi, or as he referred to her “Peaches”, which she despised at first, but grew to love! Robert was an amazing husband to Mandi, and they spent every moment they were together madly in love. They dreamed of retiring one day and buying a shot gun house in New Orleans. He will be deeply missed by all those he impacted in his life.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Neisha Jackson.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 10 years, Mandi Jackson; mother, Janie Curtis of Port Arthur; children, Brittany, Robert, Aidyn, Carter, and Jaylyn; two grandchildren; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bryan “Pops” and Sherry Mulhollan; brother-in-law, Dylan Mulhollan; sister-in-law, Maddy Mulhollan; and nephew, Atticus Mulhollan.
