Rayland Edward Byrd, 57, of Vidor, passed away on October 1, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on February 12, 1962, he was the son of Richard Byrd and Roma Cox Byrd. Rayland was a machinist for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing in his spare time. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Rayland will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roma Byrd; sister in law, Denise Byrd; and nephew Mitchell Byrd.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Byrd; father, Richard Byrd; daughter Shar Kourtney of Vidor; siblings, Ricky Byrd and wife Sheree of Nederland, Reese Byrd and wife Kelly of Vidor, and Rhonda Phillips and husband Willie of Center.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
