Paul Wilbert Webb, 90, of Orange, passed away on July 18, 2020, in Orange.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a rosary to follow at 9:30 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Orange.
Born in Marco, Louisiana, on April 7, 1930, he was the son of Mack Henry Webb and Paralea (Newton) Webb. Paul honorably served in the United States Army. Paul loved woodworking and was devoted to his Catholic faith. He loved leading a life in service to others, volunteering in ministry at St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen, and as a member of the Knights of Columbus where he thoroughly enjoyed helping cook with the Fish Fry and BBQ events. He was loving and devoted to his family, often enjoying nothing more than being surrounded by his loved ones at family gatherings and traveling every chance he had.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of almost 50 years and mother of his six children, Mary E. (Betty) Webb; parents, Mack and Paralea Webb; and his eight siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Prince Webb; children, Ronald Webb and wife Becky of Mauriceville, Paula Webb Guthry of Houston, Michael Webb and wife Nancy of The Woodlands, Teresa Webb Chambers of Mauriceville, Ken Webb and wife Stephanie of Longview, and Steve Webb and wife Tina of Port Neches; step-children, Sheila Tullier and husband Gary of Allen, and Kyle Prince of Orange; twelve grandchildren, Patricia Longlois, Donna Meeks, Melissa Cowan, Bill Teague, Dave Webb, Jessica Ogilvie, Amy Carter, Jennifer Stanley, Matt Webb, Stephen Webb, Ryan Webb, and Kelly Webb; four step-grandchildren, Jessica Tullier, Monica Tullier, Stacey Thomas, and Anthony Prince; 23 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Webb, Dave Webb, Matt Webb, Stephen Webb, Bill Teague, Xzavier Moreno, and Kyle Prince.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the building fund at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 4300 Meeks Drive, Orange, Texas 77632 or to Southeast Texas Hospice at 912 W. Cherry Ave. Orange, Texas 77630.
Mr. Webb’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Pearl and Ms. Kay for the wonderful care and compassion they have shown during these difficult times.
