Patricia Stamper Bates, 74, of Vidor, passed away on April 21, 2021.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on February 13, 1947 she was the daughter of Ernest Stamper and Avis (Patton) Stamper. Patricia attended Lamar University for some time, later going on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Accounting from LSU. She worked as an accountant for DuPont for 20 years. Patricia loved plants and enjoyed gardening. She will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Stamper and Avis (Patton) Stamper .
She is survived by her son, Brian Rogers and wife Dana of Vidor; grandchild, Austin Rogers of Vidor; and brother, Ronnie Stamper of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
