Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 28, 1955, he was the son of Richard “Rusty” Quigley and Margie Nell (Fernandez) Quigley. Mike was a down to earth and humble man, who had a “Heart of Gold”. He never missed an opportunity to tell you he loved you, and had open arms to anyone who needed them. Mike never judged and held everyone in the highest regard. He was the biggest baseball fan, with a special place in his heart for the Texas Rangers. Mike took great joy out of simplest things in life and loved spending time listening to music, messing around in his garage, working in his garden and sunset watching down at Bailey’s. He loved attending car shows, and had a deep love of classic cars, sports cars, but especially Corvettes. Above all his greatest joys and loves in life, his grandchildren trumped them all. He adored each and everyone of them, and could always be found in the stands of whatever game they were playing, cheering them on wholeheartedly. Mike left an impact on everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to live on through all the great memories he made with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rusty and Margie Quigley; and wife, Debbie Quigley.

He is survived by his sons, Jeremy Quigley and Katie LeBlanc of Bridge City, Cory Quigley of Orange, and Cody Quigley and fiancé Kelly Babin of Bridge City; step-children, Carlos Garcia and wife Gisela, Denessa Savant and Daphne Garcia; grandchildren, Konner, Kyndall, Kade, Desiree, Logan, Wyatt, Harley, Willow, Dylan and Ethan; sister, Pat Burton and husband Steve; and niece and nephew, Lisa Scott and husband Patrick and Jeff Burton.

In loving remembrance of Mike, please wear your favorite band t-shirt in attendance to his services and drive your classic cars and sports cars for him to watch from heaven.
