Mary Kay Rios, 63, of Orange, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Port Arthur.

The family will be holding a private visitation for Mary Kay.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 19, 1957, she was the daughter of Thomas Patrick Moran and Catherine (Conroy) Moran. Mary Kay not only loved to cook and bake but was wonderful at it. She was known for making the best sweets and always bringing them to events and bake sales. Mary Kay spent many weekends with her husband bowling for a league together called the “Alley Cats”. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she made many friends. Mary Kay left an impact on many lives and the memories she made with them will last a lifetime. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Moran.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Frank Rios; children, Angela Gottschalk and husband George of Covington, LA, step daughter, Julia Rios of Willowbrook, IL, and step son, Frank Rios, Jr. and wife Theresa of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Abbigail and husband Reese, Georgia, Elexa, Serena, and Arabella; great grandchildren, Remi and Ridge; siblings, Tom “Lefty” Moran and wife Joan, Mark Moran, Joe Moran, Peggy Duncan and husband Dave; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
