Mary Lou Morse, 80, of Orange, passed away on March 18, 2021, in Beaumont.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in San Augustine, Texas, on December 24, 1940, she was the daughter of Louis Hanzel and Annie Lou (Amey) Hanzel. Mary was a proud Minister at Vidor Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved her flowers and could always be found tending to her gardens. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on puzzles and playing games on the computer. Above all Mary loved her family including her church family dearly and never missed a moment to spend time with them. She left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Annie Hanzel; daughter, Cynthia Kay Pipps; and sisters, Sue Nell Thibodeaux, Dorothy Craig, Helen Warner, and Annie Ruth.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Frank D. Morse; daughter, Debra Lynn White and husband John of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Jessica Kay Moore and Ashley Christin Roger; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
