Marvin “Scott” O’Neal, 56, of Beaumont, passed away on August 25, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont..

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on July 21, 1963, he was the son of Marvin Prather O’Neal and Katrina Faye (Outlaw) Moore. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed cooking and traveling. Marvin was a jokester and always kept people laughing. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Marvin was an animal lover and enjoyed listening to Rock n Roll music. He loved his family very much and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin O’Neal and Katrina Moore; step father John R. Moore; and sister Kellie Renee Gentry.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Kyle Gentry and wife Beija Marie of Groves, Re-Deana Shaver, Marcus Moore and wife Melissa, Ray Moore and wife Tiffany all of Orange; great nieces and nephews, Liam Gentry, Keegan Shaver, Hayden Moore, Clayton Moore, Addy Moore, Brayten Moore, Rixton Moore, John McCoy Moore, and Olivia is on the way: lifelong best friend, Alex Breeden of Indiana; uncle Charles O’Neal and wife Betty of Arkansas; step children Eric, Holly, and Tawnee
