Marjorie Lee Everitt, 92, of San Antonio, former longtime resident of Orange, passed away on September 4, 2020, at her home.

A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Born in Mission, Texas, on November 3, 1927, she was the daughter of Charles Aubrey Fielder, Sr. and Mildred Lucille (Holloway) Fielder. Marjorie worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for many years and was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Orange. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Fielder; her loving husband, Hiram Lavon Everitt; and her son, Jeffrey Lavon Everitt.

She is survived by her children, Michael Ann Lentz, Cynthia Watkins, and Jan Grant; her grandchildren, Charles Lentz, Emily Lentz, Cory Grant, and Kelsey Link; and her 2 great-grandchildren.
