Marie Linder Miller, 90, of Mauriceville, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2020 surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Bob Boone and the vocalist will be Darrell Segura. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, at First Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Marie was born in Summerfield, Louisiana, on October 9, 1929. Marie is the daughter of Charles and Artie Linder. She was a devout Christian, Sunday school teacher, avid reader, very devoted wife & mother, who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Lawrence Miller, father, mother, four brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Debra Jean Buesinger of Houston and Steven Paul Miller and wife Sandy from Mauriceville; grandchildren, Laura Buesinger Parker and husband Al, Ashley Miller Woodson and husband Bryan, Derrick Miller and wife Ryan, Sierra Sargent Duncan and husband Randi, John Tyler Sargent and wife Brittney; great grandchildren, Trei Parker, Addyson Bolton, Hunter Sweeney, Kase Downs, Alayna Duncan, Kate Sargent, Carter Woodson, Kenzli Duncan, Knox Parker, Anabelle Miller, Bobby Miller, Tripp Sargent, and Finnley Woodson; sisters, Ruth Platt and Helen Weaver.
Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Miller, Bryan Woodson, John Sargent, Randi Duncan, Al Parker II, Trei Parker, and Hunter Sweeney. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Weaver and David Burnham.
