Margie Jackson, 95, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2018, in Vidor.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on October 26, 1923, she was the daughter of Frank Smith Clarkson and Katherine (Nuckols) Clarkson. Margie worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Vidor. Margie was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katherine Clarkson; her husband A.R.L. Jackson, Jr.; her daughter, Elizabeth Tinkle; her grandson, Donald Matthew Jackson; and her siblings, Frank Smith Clarkson, Jr. and Katherine Mary Francis.
She is survived by her children, Ray L. Jackson and wife Marion, Mark Jackson and wife Brenda, and Frank Donald Jackson; her grandchildren, Jessica Desormeaux, Melissa Oneill, Malane Meloncon, and Michelle Martin; and her great-grandchildren, Caroline Gardener, Harley Gardener, Jules Martine, and Haleigh Martin.
