Lula Belle Livingston

May 27, 1928 - February 12, 2022

Lula Belle Livingston, 93, of Beaumont, passed away on February 12, 2022, in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Officiating will be Dr. Phil Holder. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from I :30 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Born in Oakdale, Louisiana, on May 27, 1928, she was the daughter of Severious Henderson Ellis and Lula Virginia (Rainwater) Ellis. Lula Belle took great joy in attending church and worshipping her Lord and Savior. She volunteered her time as a Sunday School, VBS & GA teacher & was active in WMU. She was a wonderful Christian mother & also made the children of the neighborhood feel welcome. Lula Belle worked as Rosedale Baptist Church secretary for 21 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, ceramics & fishing with her husband, Bill. Lula Belle's pride and joy were her grandsons, she was endlessly proud of each one of them. She left a lasting impact on everyone she met in life and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Severious and Lula Ellis; baby sister, Lillian Ellis; brother, Jim Ellis; sisters, Ellender Burrow and Margaret Robinson. She is survived by her loving husband of 76 years, Bill Livingston; children, Sandra Sterling and husband Harvey, Clayton Livingston and wife Phyllis; grandsons, Stephen Sterling and wife Jeri, Jonathan Sterling and wife Tiffany, Robert Livingston and wife Tabitha; great grandchildren, Jackson, Abigail, Heather, Jacob, Ziva and Ezekiel; sister, Florence Mitchell; brother-in-law, JD Robinson; and sisters-in-law, Lucille McManus and Mary Jordan & a host of nieces & nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Sterling, Jonathan Sterling, Robert Livingston, Winston Coates, Charles Rice and John Johnson; and honorary pallbearer, Johnny Floyd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Boone NC 28607.
