Linda Carol Cobb

Linda Carol Cobb, 73, of Orange, passed away on December 27, 2020, at her home in Orange.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Charles Miller. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Claybar Funeral Home.

Born in Orange, Texas on December 3, 1947, she was the daughter of Charles Louis Miller and Annie Bell (Caswell) Miller Blackwell. Linda worked for Walmart for many years and was loved by everyone she came into contact with. She was a faithful member of Winfree Baptist Church in Orange and enjoyed playing card games in her down time. Linda adored her grandbabies more than anything and never missed an opportunity to be with them. She was known for having the biggest heart and left an impact on everyone she met. Linda was a loving mother, mammaw, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Miller, Annie Miller Blackwell, and stepdad, Robert “Bob” Blackwell.

She is survived by her children, Chuck Cobb and wife Charlotte of Mauriceville and Taryn Calvert and husband Jason of Orange; grandchildren, C.J. Cobb and fiancé Baylee, Breanne Calvert and fiancé Cody, Josh Cobb, Seth Calvert, and Abbey Cobb; great grandchildren, Raven, Delaney, Grayson, Seth Jr., Cooper, Baleigh, and Adilynn; siblings, Patsy Chambers and husband Henry of Bridge City, Agnes Chambers and husband James of Milam, Charles Miller and Clarice of Bridge City; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be C.J. Cobb, Josh Cobb, Seth Calvert, Cody Stephenson, Jason Calvert, and Michael Franklin.
