Lewis "Peeky" Arlington Anthony III

Lewis “Peeky” Arlington Anthony III, 60, of Orange, passed away on June 15, 2021, in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Visitation will begin prior to the funeral service at 9:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on August 10, 1960, he was the son of Lewis Arlington Anthony, Jr. and Mary Janise and Becky Cole. Peeky bravely served in the U.S. Army and later went on to serve in the National Guard. He worked as a welder for Hogan Steel for several years. Peeky married the love of his life, Cynthia, after only two weeks of dating, and went on to spend a blissful 38 years full of memories and laughter together. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, riding motorcycles and building computers. Out of all his many joys in life, his family was the center of his happiness. He worked every day to provide the best life for his family and adored them deeply. Peeky was an avid bird lover and raised & raced pigeons as a beloved hobby. He will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Arlington Anthony, Jr.; mother’s, Mary Janise & Becky Cole; and grandmothers, Nona Anthony and Lucille Janise.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cynthia Anthony; children, Crystal Eddins of Buna and Randal Anthony and wife Kelly of Katy; grandchildren, Tristan Smith and husband Wesly, Trey Collins, Braden Anthony, Emma Anthony, Kaden Anthony and Raelynn Anthony; siblings, Shona Clark and husband Randall of Buna, James Anthony and wife Norma of Buna, Lonnie Anthony and wife Janelle of Huntsville, and Trulby Landry; and uncle, Calvin Janise; along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
