Kay Nusom, 72, of Buna, passed away on December 5, 2021, in Beaumont.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Moore. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont.

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on August 14, 1949, she was the daughter of Clyde Bolen and Nadine (Leech) Bolen. Kay loved music and surrounding herself with the joy it brought. She played piano at her church, and enjoying sharing her love of music and God with others. Kay will be deeply missed by all who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Nadine Bolen; son, Christopher Nusom; and sister, Diana.

She is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Nusom; sons, Stephen Nusom, Jody Nusom, and Kyle Nusom; grandchildren, Caitlin and Liam Nusom; sister, Kathy Gates and husband Randy; and brother, Robert Bolen and wife JoAnn.
