January 15, 1948 — April 4, 2021

Kathleen D. Stephenson
Kathleen D. Stephenson, 73, of Beaumont, Texas, passed on Easter morning with the rising of the sun and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Kathleen Stephenson believed the message of the gospel that was given to the church by the Apostles of Jesus Christ, and never wavered from the message of truth. Her example as a Saint of God was surely seen and testified by all who knew her. She was a bible teacher at The Apostolic Academy and was a dedicated member who never missed church. During her time of sickness, she received many miracles from God, including no pain in her body for the last five months of her sickness, and never receiving the coronavirus which has affected so many people around the world. Kathleen read her bible every day and was always praying for her children, grandchildren, and others. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother that was selfless, always putting everyone else first. She will be greatly missed by her family, church, and all the friends who knew her. She was a bright and shining light in a world of darkness.

Born in Alvin, Texas, on January 15, 1948, she was the daughter of Roy John Darcey and Delia Irma Guidry Darcey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Delia, and her brother, Gary Darcey.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 44 years, Dennis Stephenson; children, Bradley Stephenson and wife Carrie of Nashville, Kristin Armagh and husband Gary Armagh of Beaumont, Texas, Mary Olive of Ypsilanti, Michigan, James “Bill” Olive of Beaumont, Texas, Joei Darcey of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Kayli, Aaron, Olivia, Joshua, Kyle, Nicholas, Lucas, Jacob, Noah, and Erik; niece, Janet Ferriz; nephew, Michael Darcey; sisters-in-law, Margie Stephenson and Carolyn Stephenson; her cat, Mittens; along with Katherine Hannon who was like a granddaughter, and many other family members and friends.
