Judy Lanette Arnaud Schoolfield

June 26, 1942 — April 30, 2018

Judy Lanette Arnaud Schoolfield went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018, after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. Judy was born on June 26, 1942, in Orange, TX, and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Arnaud; her brothers, Randy Arnaud and Keith Arnaud and her oldest son, Frank Smart.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Schoolfield of Nederland; her brother, David Arnaud, and Kay of Nederland; her daughter, Jami Fairley and husband, Michael, of Galveston; her son, Glen Wyatt of Bridge City; her granddaughter, Chelsea Jones and husband, Eric, of Dickinson; her granddaughter, Karli Anderson, of Texas City; her great Granddaughter, Andi Kate Jones of Dickinson and her nephew, Michael Arnaud and wife, Ashley, of Mandeville, LA.

Judy was blessed with a servant's heart and spear-headed the fundraising campaign to have the Bridge City-Orangefield Community Center built in the early '80s and was recognized as the 1982 Bridge City Citizen of the Year. In her more recent years, Judy served as the banquet manager at the Holiday Inn in Port Arthur and retired in September of 2017.

Judy had a personality larger than life and was loved and adored by all who knew her. Her two granddaughters and great granddaughter were the apple of her eye.

A graveside memorial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange on Friday, May 4th, at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's name to Harbor Foundation of Beaumont to assist hospice families in need.
