John Lavette Jackson, III, 38, of Vidor, passed away on August 6, 2017, in Vidor.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on April 11, 1979, he was the son of John Lavette Jackson, II and Robin Brown Wells. John loved electronics, and he enjoyed spending time pinging. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his fiancé, Amber Leger; step-fathers who raised him, Paul Capps and Artie Wells; son, Taylor Jackson; daughter, Kelsey Jackson; sisters, Christine Capps, Kimberly Sunday Capps, and Amber Wells Carrington; and brother, Adam Wells.
Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange
