Jerrel “Jerry” Fairchild, 86, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on June 9, 2021, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Cremation Gathering will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Judge Pat Clark leading a time of remembrance at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on June 22, 1934, she was the daughter of R.V. Gann and Jewel (Lindsey) Gann. Jerry was a court reporter for the United States Federal Court in Beaumont for many years. She was also a very loyal member of the 1st United Methodist Church. Along with church Jerry also loved to play Bridge, being a Life Bridge Master. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.V. Gann and Jewel (Lindsey) Gann; husband, Louie Fairchild; husband, Bill Triggs; and brother, Don Gann.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Fairchild and wife Kelli of Lumberton, TX, and Max Fairchild and wife Brenda of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Alexandra Bacon and husband Brian, Kody Burrows, Kale Burrows, Jeffery Fairchild and wife Kellsey, and Jacob Fairchild; great-grandchildren, Krue Bacon, Drake Bacon, and Coleman Fairchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
