Jeffrey Lee Schaefer, 61, of Stowell, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2020, at his home.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Homes.
Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on March 13, 1958, he was the son of Laurance Thomas Schaefer, Sr. and Mildred Stratman. Jeffrey was an honest and hard worker who put everything he had into every job he worked on. He was a carpenter for many years, working at the beach, and over the last 30 years opening Construction Unlimited with his partner. Jeffrey also worked as a rigger for a few years. He was a wonderful husband, a nurturing father, and a kind hearted grandfather to his grandchildren, who adored him. Jeffrey was very loved throughout his lifetime, and will be dearly missed by all those who came to know him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Laurance Schaefer Sr.; and brother, Laurance Schaefer, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Stratman; loving wife, CheeLee Schaefer; sons, Tommy Schaefer, and Stayton Seamans; grandchildren, Halee Seamans, Emily Schaefer, Hunter Seamans; siblings, Jennifer Husa, Ken Schaefer, Vailare Whited, and Dave Schaefer.
