Jeanette Buchanan, 77, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on October 25, 2020, in Beaumont.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Born in Newton, Texas on August 5, 1943, she was the daughter of William Warner and Annie Mae Shaver-Warner. Janet was a loving wife and mother. She worked from home taking care of her family. Janet loved going to church and spending her time reading the bible and watching Christian programs on the television. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed making others smile especially her children and grandchildren. Janet blessed her family with many memories for her loved ones to remember her by, she may be gone but she will not be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annie Warner; husband, James David Buchanan, Sr.; sons, James David Buchanan, Jr. and Charles David Buchanan; daughter, Rosemary Buchanan.

She is survived by her children, Helen Busby of Beaumont, Janice Ballance and her husband Rodney of Spring Branch, Vickie Alexander of Beaumont, and Michael Buchanan of Beaumont; grandchildren, twenty; great-grandchildren, 31; sister, Allene Shoemaker of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
