Born in Houston, Texas, on September 20, 2013, he was the son of David Savoy and Bridget Holland. Jaxon was his family’s miracle baby, often referred to as the “Hydro-warrior”, overcoming five brain surgeries in six years, along with numerous other operations, which he continually faced head on with so much courage. Jaxon fought an incredible battle every day of his life and won countless times for an incredible six years. Jaxon’s favorite things in the entire world was music, asking the question why, and Spider-Man, constantly surrounding himself with all things Spidey. He was a vivacious little boy, full of life, love, and laughter. You could often catch Jaxon enveloped in the sound of music, dancing his heart out, singing at the top of his lungs, and marching to the beat of his own drum. He enjoyed fishing – as long as he didn’t have to touch the fish, camping, and making smores. He loved riding on his four-wheeler, jumping on the trampoline and animals of all kinds. He was incredibly smart, attending Vidor Elementary School and enjoyed studying math.

Jaxon never met a stranger, attracting everyone with his bright smile and infectious laughter. He marveled in being the center of attention, bringing a smile to the face of everyone who met him. Jaxon had a special gift of brightening up anyone’s day, bringing an unsurmountable amount of love to his family, and touching so many lives in his short time. His family counts every moment they were given with Jaxon to be the most special gift, from his first cry to his last breath, they loved and cherished him beyond measure. He was a fighter all throughout life’s storms and never faltered in his courage and bravery. Just like his favorite superhero Spider-Man, Jaxon was a superhero – giving the ultimate gift of his life to save multiple other lives. To honor and remember his life in the best way as possible, his family requests that you live your life just as Jaxon did, with joy, courage, and a smile on your face.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sam H. Brown, who was waiting with open arms at heaven’s gate for Jaxon; and cousins, Beau Barron, and Summer Barron.

He is survived by his mother, Bridget Holland and wife Mollie Bahnsen; father, David Savoy and wife Elizabeth Chance; siblings, Shaelynn Holland, Khloe Iles, Jordan Savoy, Hillary Savoy, and Dylan Savoy; his MiMi, Ramona Holland; his Pawpaw, David Savoy Sr.; his Mawmaw’s, Heidi Cleveland, and Duverne Brown; uncle, Jesse Holland; aunt, Brooke Freeman and husband David; uncle, Logan Savoy and wife Cheryl; and uncle, Jonathan Savoy; 8 first cousins; along with many other family and friends.

The family would like to express their deep and unending gratitude to Dr. David Sandberg of Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston for his fierce and devoted care he provided Jaxon from the moment he was born to the day he passed away.

The family requests all attendants to wear red, blue, and black in honor of Jaxon’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
