Harold Hardin, 92, of Orange, passed away on September 6, 2021, in Beaumont.

A gathering for friends and family will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at Lori and Joel Ardoin’s home in Orange.

The family will hold a private graveside service to honor Harold and his time here with his beloved family and friends.

Born in Orange, Texas, on December 26, 1928, he was the son of Frank N. Hardin and Rosa (Guidry) Hardin. Harold proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army for 2 years. He was a hard worker and went on to work as a supervisor for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Harold was a faithful and longtime member of Cove Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time at his camp fishing and being around his family. Harold was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosa Hardin; daughter, Cheryl Hardin; and siblings, Whitty Hardin, Marshall Hardin, Lamar “Coco” Hardin, Bernice “Sis” Guire, Ruby Hardin, Milford “Tookie” Hardin, Jessie Sonnier, Audrey “Peggy” Luve, Delores Stephens, and Quincy “P.U” Hardin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Lee Hardin; children, Karen Blanda and husband John of Orange and Lori Ardoin and husband Joel also of Orange; grandchildren, Carrie Blanda, Kalie Blanda, John Blanda, Jr., Lance Hardin, Layne Bruno, and Heston Cheshire; great grandchild, Emma Hardin; and brother, Bobby Hardin of Hackberry, La.

Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
