Geraline Lange

March 24, 1931 — June 20, 2022

Geraline “MaMaw” Lange, 91, of Orange, passed away on June 20, 2022, at The Arboretum in Winnie, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

A memorial gathering will be held at a Friday, July 1, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Victoria, Texas, on March 24, 1931, she was the daughter of Oscar Franklin and Ruth Katherine McCoy. Geraline enjoyed working outside and was an avid gardener. She would often spend her free time reading one of her many books. Geraline was also an amazing cook and love to make dinner for her family. She loved to spoil her kids and grandkids and did so any chance she could. Geraline was the biggest support for all of her family in every way. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Lange; daughter, Rebecca Lee Lange; her parents, Oscar and Ruth McCoy; and brother, Oscar Lee McCoy.

She is survived by her children, Donna Kay Click and husband Jack of Orangefield, David Michael Lange and wife Angie of Orangefield; grandchildren, Melissa Leger, Jason Lange and wife Heather, Mikey Click and wife Reese, Ian Lange; great-grandchildren, Tripp Leger, Jairyn Leger, Cade Lange, Marshall Lange, Nathan Huff, Kaden Huff, Michaela Click, Regan Click; sister, Barbara Orsak of Victoria; as well as many other loving friends and family.
