Easton Ryan Lau, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2020, at 19 months old, at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 6:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitations will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2020 and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on January 24, 2019, he was the son of Sy A Lau and Xuan Ngoc Tsan. Easton will always be remembered for his bright smile, his adventurous spirit, and his love of big warm hugs and nighttime cuddles. He was full of life and could often be found climbing or banging on things with spoons and chopsticks. Easton loved to play soccer and sing the Johnny Johnny song. He was always excited about drinking his milk and his favorite part of the day was bath time. Easton adored his family and was his daddy’s shadow, following him around everywhere he went. During his short time here on Earth, he touched many people’s hearts. Easton was a joyful baby who was the light of his family’s lives. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, especially by his nanny, Nuong Nguyen. His loved ones are eternally grateful for the time they had with him. “Sometimes it’s the smallest things that take up the most room in our hearts.”

He will lovingly be remembered by his parents, Sy A Lau and Xuan Ngoc Tsan; and his big sister, Emilee Rose Lau. Family on his mom’s side of the family includes his grandparents, Pau Moc Tsan and Thu Thi Tran; his aunts, Thao Tsan, Dung Tsan and fiancé Duy Nguyen, Lan Tsan and husband Phuong Nguyen, Linh Tsan, and Phuong Tsan; his uncles, Quy Tsan, Kim Tsan, and Pau Tsan; and his cousins, Aiden Le, Amy Le, and Chloe Ann Nguyen. Family on his dad’s side of the family includes his grandparents, Phi Khi Lau and Mui Sy Chieng; his uncles, Sang Lau, Long Lau; his aunts, Can Lau, Van Lau, Phong Lau, and Kiu Lau; and his cousins, Huy Lau, Cuong Lau, Phat Long, Dat Lau, Yen Lau, and Di Lau.
