Deborah Lynn Martinez, 64, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 26, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2019, at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Anaheim, California, on March 31, 1955, she was the daughter of Elmer Eugene McClain and Joyce (Langham) McClain. Deborah was a talented wood carver, often carving both miniature and full sized carousel animals, and taking home many awards for her talent. She loved taking care of animals, and was known to love and nurture anyone she came into contact with. Deborah had a heart of gold and saw the good in everyone. She never met a stranger and everyone she met instantly felt warm and welcomed. For her entire lifetime, she was the heart of her home, and will be forever missed by all those who were graced with her presence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Joyce McClain; husband, Robert Martinez; sister, Sandra McClain Dollarhide, and brother-in-law, George Dollarhide.
She is survived by her son, Ron Martinez; brother, Pat McClain; half-brother, Bernard McClain; and cousin, David McClain.
