Clyde Earl Holder of Mauriceville, Texas, passed from this life, Friday, January 28, 2022.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, at Jett Cemetery in Orange.
He was born November 12, 1954, in Gorman, Texas, where his dad and mom farmed. After a few years the family moved to Orange, Texas, where his dad worked and retired at Livingston Shipyard, which Clyde later picked up as his trade. The family then remained in Orange.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Carl Holder and Amanda Cornelia Holder; late wives, Sharon Holder, Gail Holder, and Vickie Barras.
Those left to mourn his passing are his children, Emilee Detrick, John D. Barras and wife Gina, Dustin Holder, Blake Holder, and Caleb Holder; siblings, Sharon Bailey and husband Charlie, Charlie Holder and wife Linda, and Donald Holder and wife Wilma; grandchildren, Hudson, Sloane, and Ada; many nieces and nephews, Anita Williams; many friends and classmates of Little Cypress Mauriceville High School, where Clyde graduated.
During his lifetime, Clyde learned many trades, welding, pipe fitting, did some carpentry, and mechanics. He was always fun loving and loved and liked by many. He will be greatly missed.
