Clara Elizabeth Eaves

November 4, 1930 - December 18, 2021

Clara Elizabeth Eaves, 91, of Beaumont, passed away on December 18, 2021, at her home. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, at Magnolia Cemetery, in Beaumont. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service starting at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, at Magnolia Cemetery. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on November 4, 1930, she was the daughter of John William Hagner and Louise Elizabeth (Ferrich) Hagner. Clara was a jack of all trades. She enjoyed dancing with her beloved husband, Arnold, fishing on the bayou, canning homemade jelly, and gardening. Clara was a wonderful seamstress and when her children where younger she made their clothes from feed sacks with designs. She loved riding horses and worked on the farm with her father as a child. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing dominos and cards with all of her family. Clara was a big Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching them play. She was a faithful and longtime member of LaBelle Baptist Church and really loved her church family. Clara adored her family most of all and they were her number one priority in life. She left an impact on many lives and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Arnold Eaves; parents, John and Louise Hagner; siblings, Mary Craig, Frank Hagner, and Barbara Fountain; stepsister, Ollie BisCamp; children, Shirley, Bertha Mae, Kathie, and Nathan; and grandchildren, Troy, Josh, and baby Shane. She is survived by her grandchildren, Dawn Meaux, and husband Robert, Jr. and Shane Hart; great grandchildren, Courtney Spears, Marley Meaux, and Matthew Meaux; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
