Cirilda Flores, 90, of Orange, passed away on December 29, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Kenedy, Texas, on November 15, 1930, she was the daughter of Juan Barrera and Celia (Garza) Barrera. Cirilda was a housekeeper for Orange Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a devoted Catholic and a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Cirilda enjoyed going to the casino and loved her family dearly. Her family was the most important part of her life and she never missed a moment to spend time with them. Cirilda left an impact on many lives and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose R. Flores of 59 years; son, Apolonio "Paul" Flores; sisters, Manuella Barrera, Maclovia Solis, Luse Lida Carrillo; and brothers, Martin Barrera, Roger Barrera, and Demetrio Barrera.

She is survived by her children, Jose Flores, Jr. and wife Rhenee of Dry Prong, Louisiana, Esmeralda Carlock of Orange, and Jesse Flores also of Orange; and a very special daughter in law; Abbie Flores; along with 14 loving grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic no visitation will be held and the family will gather for a private ceremony.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
