Carolyn Ann Hubert

Carolyn Ann Hubert, 77, of Groves, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2019, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor Lloyd Whitman. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks in Orange.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, on April 4, 1941, she was the daughter of C. H. Whitman and Ora (Monceaux) Whitman. Carolyn was a homemaker. She loved her family more than anything and was a wonderful mom, grandma, and great-grandma. Carolyn was a social butterfly and enjoyed talking on the phone. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C. H. and Ora Whitman; her husband of 43 years, Vertis Kyle Hubert, Jr.; her grandson, James Kyle Hubert; and 11 of her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Jeffrey Kyle Hubert and wife Amy of Belton, Terry Lynn Hubert and wife Debra of Dayton, Shanna Kay Hubert of Groves, and Julie Ann Feagins and husband Robert of Flowermound; her siblings, Howard Whitman, Lloyd Whitman, Vera Perry, Martha Whitman, and Mildred Anthony; her 12 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren, her 5 great-great-grandchildren; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Hubert, Jeff Hubert, Tyson Russell, Robert McDonald, Rob Feagins, and Steve Hubert.
