Bobby Lynn Wood, 88, of Vidor, passed away on November 15, 2020, in Beaumont.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange, with burial to follow.

A memorial gathering will be held afterwards beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Toro, Louisiana, on September 2, 1932, she was the daughter of Ray McMillan and Mary Elizabeth (Dewil) McMillan. Bobby was a Christian woman with strong faith in her Lord. She loved deeply and forgave frequently. Family was everything to Bobby and she always cherished and nurtured them in any way she could. She was extremely devoted to caring for her family and was continuously present for whatever they needed. Bobby enjoyed gardening and being surrounded by her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary McMillan; loving husband, Paul Gene Wood; sister, Linda Warren and husband Lonnie, Virginia Waldrup and husband Billy, and Pauline Samford; and brothers, Buddy McMillan and wife Caroline, and Huey McMillan.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Darlene Wansbrough of Vidor, and Greg Lynn Wood and wife Carla of Pearland; grandchildren, Shana Lee Holmes and husband Alex, Darlene Manik Roten, Elizabeth Dawn Blakemore and husband Sean; great-grandchildren, Presley Lynn Holmes, Holden Holmes, Jerry Joe Henson IV, Krystal Bracci, Aimée Henson, Jared Burdick, Ziva Blakemore and Kara Blakemore; and sister, Gelea Downs of Vidor.
