Bob Menefee
Bob Menefee, 70, of Beaumont, passed away on January 14, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on December 29, 1948, he was the son of Paul Douglas and Ruth M. (Harrel) Menefee. Bob obtained Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. After French High School he shipped out with the Merchant Marines to deliver oil in the Persian Gulf. Returning to work in Beaumont, he married in 1973, attended Lamar University for a Bachelor of General Studies degree in 1980, became a father in 1982, and incorporated as Texas Choice, Inc. in 1990 selling wholesale goods. He was a hard working family man, traveling extensively with his wife and family. Two of his businesses were Arby’s Restaurant, and the Bungy Fun Zone in Parkdale Mall from 2004 to 2012. Bob owned and operated many businesses in Texas; also, Missouri, Colorado, North and South Carolina and Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Menefee.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Menefee and daughters - Carlin Kubenka of Seabrook, Texas, and Anna Streeper of Sour Lake, Texas, and grandchildren - Jodie Streeper and Tony Streeper; Brother - Dale Menefee, and sister, Carol Ann Patriarco.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
