Beverly Ann Burk

Beverly Ann Burk, 71, of Orange, passed away on April 1, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Butch Thurman.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Orange, Texas, on August 22, 1949, she was the daughter of Edgar Smith and Evangeline (Brandon) Smith. Beverly attended M.B. Smiley High School and graduated in 1968. She was a one of a kind woman as well as a social butterfly who never met a stranger. Beverly enjoyed crafts, tending to her flower garden, and was a wonderful cook. She was a faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church where she made many friends over the years. Beverly loved spending her spare time at the beach, going to the deer lease, as well as having fish fries. Family meant everything to her, and she never missed any events that her grandbabies where a part of. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Evangeline Smith; brother Ronnie Smith; sister, Pat Bendy; niece and nephew, Nathan Carrico and Rhonda Droddy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Thomas “Tommy” Burk; children, Michelle Gephart and husband Matt of Conroe, Tx, and Michael Macaluso and wife Angela of New Waverly, Tx; stepchildren, Tristina Mendoza of Jennings, La and Sandy Burk of Picayune, Ms; grandchildren, Hagen Macaluso, Madelyn Macaluso, Phillip Mendoza, and Jimmy Mendoza; as well as many other loving family and friends.
