Bertha Lee Sonnier

Bertha Lee Sonnier, 92, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on May 29, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 8:00 a.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, with a reciting of the Rosary by her daughters, Wanda Cormier and Camella Chopin, at 10:30 a.m.

Born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, on September 5, 1926, she was the daughter of Corbet Latiolais and Estella (Trosclair) Latiolais. Bertha worked as a nursing assistant for St. Elizabeth Hospital for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
